Home

Home

Born out of the suburban bliss of middle America, HOME escapes into reality with his paintings. Growing up near railroads and being inspired by the hobo monikers and odd civilian graffiti he began to use spray paint as the medium to express the peculiarities of getting older. Now, living in New York, he continues to do so with a maturing range of styles pulling from all facets of art, combining unorthodox approaches to orthodox formats creating something bold and immediate. The work appears shocking and almost abnormal in its setting reflecting the state of human kinds impact on the planet in which conditions for its inhabitants become increasingly critical in the search for a place to call home.

Seb Gorey

Seb Gorey

Seb Gorey was born in 1976 in Paris, France. Today, he is based in New York City working as an artist and designer focusing on overcoming the decay of our civilization. His work portrays the ingeniosity and versatility of human made recycling, englobing the end of industrial production and the revenge of nature. The main aspect of his production is the idea of stacking and coliding disparate elements to form unity. The traditional stylistic, rather figurative, approach depicts a post apocalyptic environment influenced by street culture in which the humans have survived.
